The Beginning
After some graphic designs classes in college and being thrown to the wolves to design a corporate website at a new job, RLH Designs was born. The first website was a big learning experience, especially because of its scope. The good thing was that through the process designing became fun and easier. Now, there just needed to be more opportunities to do it and new skills to try.
The Bright Idea
As a consumer, I research restaurants and stores before visiting them to get directions, hours, menus and basic information. While doing this I realized that there are many small businesses that don’t have a presence on the web and they were losing my business because I couldn’t find out about them from my computer. Knowing how easy it is to get a basic website up and running I realized that I could help those businesses attract customers and offer more information to their current customers. The light bulb turned on.
The basic premise of the company was born: provide web and graphic design services to individuals and small businesses – those that can’t keep a full-time marketing or design staff at their beck and call.
